Before you write

Many answers are already in the FAQ. For school closures or travel safety, follow your district and local officials first. See our disclaimer.

Useful reports

Include the page URL, location entered, time, result or error, and browser. Do not send passwords, IDs, or medical data.

What we can help with

Broken tools, page errors, accessibility, and how calculators work. We cannot call a snow day or give emergency, legal, or medical advice.

How to get a useful reply

Use the subject that matches your request so the right person sees it. A general question about how a score is built is different from a bug on one ZIP code, and both are different from a privacy request. We read every message. We do not sell inbox data, and we do not use contact forms to change live forecast results.

Calculator or forecast questions

Name the tool, the city or ZIP you entered, and whether you used GPS. Mention the time you ran it. Forecast APIs refresh through the day, so a morning score and an evening score can differ without a site error. Compare the result with your district or road agency before you change plans.

Bug reports

A short reproduction path helps: page URL, browser, and what you expected versus what appeared. Screenshots are welcome. Do not paste API keys, school-staff credentials, or student records. If the form or GPS button fails, say whether location permission was allowed.

Partnerships and press

Describe the audience, the deadline, and whether you need a quote, a data note, or a link review. We can explain methodology at a high level. We cannot provide private user locations or unpublished model weights.

Contact questions

Most messages get a reply within two business days. Privacy requests follow the timeline in the privacy policy. Weather emergencies should go to local officials, not this inbox.

No. Use your district notification system. Our Snow Day Predictor is a planning estimate from live weather, not an official call.

Calculators request live forecast data when you submit a location. We do not show a stored sample score for your city.

Support is email-only so we can keep a written record of bug reports and privacy requests. Use hello@snowdaycalculator.io or the form above.

What happens after you send a message

The form confirms that required fields are complete, then shows a success note. We read the subject first so a privacy request is not mixed with a press deadline. If we need the page URL or the location you tested, we will ask once rather than sending a long questionnaire. We do not change a calculator score by email; scores come from the live forecast at the moment you run the tool.

If your question is already answered in the FAQ, disclaimer, or a specific calculator page, we may point you there and add only the extra detail you asked for. That keeps replies short and accurate. For school, road, or emergency decisions, official notices still come first.

We do not take advertising requests through this form, and we do not publish user emails. If you wrote about a tool that uses live weather, include whether you allowed location access. A score that changes after a new model run is expected. A blank result, a broken button, or a page that will not submit is a bug we want to fix.
